Seals are supplied in lengths to provide a fire and vapour-tight barrier between a module and the deck or between one module and another. Typical installations require a single steel angle toe-welded to the bulkhead and a steel channel welded to the deck.
Although a single seal is suitable for A0 and H0 applications, A60 and H60 installations require a double seal with an air gap, which is formed by using a square section steel spacer. H120 applications are similar to A60-H60 although inner and outer seals are insulated.
We also prefabricate corner sections that bring together double, double and double, and single seals to form corner joints, which are subsequently bonded together.
