Bestobell Oilfield Products offers standard pipe penetration seals under the ‘Fireflex’ brand for pipes ranging from 0.5 inch (21mm) to 42 inch (1067mm) diameter. Fireflex’s wrap-around design, bonded overlap and worm drive clip makes them easy to fit.
Single seal installations suitable for external and internal applications are A0 fire-rated. Bulkheads are H0 rated and double seal installations rated to A60. H60 and H120 fire-rated bulkheads are deck blast-rated to 1.25 bar g.
These seals are able to accommodate lateral, offset and angular movements of 25mm and more. However, it is vital to consider the size and positioning of the seal both during design and assembly.
