Bestobell Oilfield Products designs and builds Jet fire proof seals to protect people and plant on offshore oil and gas platforms around the world. They can survive a blast and stop or slow the spread of fire and toxic vapours, giving the crew vital minutes to evacuate.

The technology to achieve this is built on many years’ experience backed by the most advanced engineering, testing and manufacturing resources. Bestobell Fireflex and Jetfire seals are designed to close the gap between two metal structures, allowing a degree of movement under conditions of mechanical abuse, severe operating conditions and extremes of temperature.

Bestobell Jet fire proof and blast / Deck penetration seals are independently approved by Lloyds Register and are subject to frequent checks on offshore oil and gas platforms around the world.
